1. About these terms
These Terms govern your use of the eKitab website and services operated by Daniyal Enterprises (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, eBook License and Refund Policy.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse or unauthorised sharing of content.
3. Digital products
All products are digital. No physical goods are shipped. Product pages describe the format, language, page count, download allowance and reading options before you buy.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include or exclude GST as shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment partner. An order is confirmed only after we receive verified confirmation of payment.
5. Licence
Purchases grant a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the eBook as described in the eBook License and Usage Policy. Copyright remains with the respective rights holders.
6. Acceptable use
You must not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly share, remove watermarks from, or attempt to bypass access controls of any content, or interfere with the website’s security.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or withdraw titles; see the Digital Reading Terms for what happens to purchased books.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.
9. Grievances and governing law
Complaints can be raised with our Grievance Officer (see Grievance Redressal). These Terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Delhi have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer law.
