What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone (optional), password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Billing data: billing name, state, GSTIN and address you provide for invoices.
- Order and payment records. Card/UPI details are handled by our payment partner; we do not store them.
- Reading data: library, reading progress, bookmarks, notes, download history and IP address for security.
- Optional analytics cookies, only with your consent where required.
Why we use it
To provide your library and reader, process payments, issue invoices, prevent fraud and misuse, provide support, meet legal and tax obligations, and — only with your consent — send marketing emails or WhatsApp messages.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the service (hosting, payment gateway, email delivery, WhatsApp provider if enabled) or when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Invoices and payment records are retained for the period required by tax law. Security logs are kept for a limited period.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and request deletion of your data from Account → Privacy & data, or by writing to us. We respond in line with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as and when its provisions are in force.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and activity logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.
